Balboa Park

Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre cultural campus in the middle of the city — 17 museums, the San Diego Zoo, the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, Japanese Friendship Garden, and the Spanish Colonial Revival architecture that gives the park its signature character. Free Tuesdays at the museums are a local secret.
